Company: Branches
Enter the identification details for each branch of your reporting company located outside its home country — these records are required before contracts can be assigned to a branch as service user.
Fields covered on this page:
Branch name
The name used to identify this branch of the reporting company.
What to enter
Enter the branch name as it is known internally or as registered.
This is not the legal name of the head office — it identifies the specific branch location.
Branch ID code
The identification code used to uniquely identify this branch.
What to enter
Use the branch's own LEI if it has one that is unique to the branch and different from the head office LEI.
If the branch does not have its own distinct LEI, use another identification code applied by the reporting company to identify this branch — for example, an internal branch code.
NOTE:
-
If the branch LEI is the same as the head office LEI or the same as another branch's LEI, it cannot be used as the branch identifier. Use an alternative code in that case.
-
Each branch record must have a unique identifier within the register.
If you're having issues, see Entity, branch, and group structure issues.
Branch registration country
The country where this branch is located and operates.
What to enter
Select the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code for the country where the branch is located.
This is the host country of the branch, not the country of the head office.
