How do updates to DORA requirements affect the platform?
How Copla Registry stays aligned with EBA regulatory updates, who is responsible for keeping the platform current, and what this means for your existing register.
Covered on this page:
We monitor and implement regulatory updates proactively
When the EBA updates the DORA RoI templates, taxonomy, or reporting requirements, we implement the necessary changes to Copla Registry.
This is done proactively — you are not required to take any action to keep the platform aligned with current regulatory requirements.
We monitor EBA updates and recommendations on an ongoing basis and adapt them to the platform as they are published.
Local regulatory differences are also reflected
DORA is an EU-wide regulation, but national competent authorities across Member States apply EBA recommendations at different speeds and with subtle local differences depending on their systems and operational maturity. We account for these local variations where they affect how the register should be prepared and reported.
If your entity operates across multiple jurisdictions, the platform is maintained to reflect the requirements relevant to each.
How we notify you of changes
For substantial regulatory changes that affect how the register is structured or submitted, we notify customers by email.
Routine platform updates that do not affect the register structure or reporting logic do not require notification.
If you have questions about how a specific regulatory update affects your register, contact our support team.
What happens to your existing register when the platform is updated
Platform updates that reflect regulatory changes are applied to the platform itself — they do not automatically modify records you have already entered. Your existing register data remains as you entered it.
If a regulatory update introduces new required fields or changes to existing ones, you will need to review and update your register accordingly before your next submission. We will communicate what action is needed when this applies.
